RGS boys basketball will have OPEN GYM on Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday from 3-4:30 pm this week. Tryouts will take place on September 29th and 30th from 6-8 pm. Those who try out must have a current physical on file and must have passing grades. Proper gym shoes are mandatory for try-outs. This is for 5th-8th-grade boys.

Last week, Mrs. Henry's and Mrs. Phillips class celebrated national Play-Doh day by using Play-Doh to introduce fractions! It was a great way to integrate teamwork, math, and Play-Doh all into one!

RGS JV Cross Country girls placed 1st today at the St. Mary's Invitational. Scout ran the varsity race and placed 15th. These girls make me proud and should be proud of themselves! Way to GO!!

Raccoon PeeWee Organizational meeting is next Wednesday, September 24th, at 6 pm. We will meet in the cafeteria to discuss important information. Junior High was given the opportunity to listen to Honor Flight Guards talk about the upcoming Honor Flight Veterans will be taking on September 12 from Marion. The junior high students spent a few days in their ELA class writing letters to Veterans that will be on the flight! Excited for them to receive their letters upon their return during mail call.
