Save the Date!!! Raccoon Grade School Christmas Program Tuesday, December 19 6:00pm Doors will open at 5:30pm All students participating in program should be in their seats by 5:45pm. If you are unable to attend the Evening Program, we will have an open dress rehearsal at 1pm. Doors will open at 12:45pm.

We will be hosting our annual Fall Festival Tomorrow,Sunday November 12th from 1-4pm. We have a lot of great things planned such as raffles, themed baskets, silent auction, chili dinner and lots of games. Chili dinner tickets will be $6.00.This is one of the PTO’s biggest fundraisers for the students so we hope you will join us! Games cost 25 cents per play! Come out for some family fun and support RGS!!!

Reminder... Fall fest games cost 25 cents per play!!

We will be having our annual Fall Fest this Sunday, November 12th from 1:00-4:00 pm. There will be a chili dinner, faculty and staff dessert auction, basket raffles, 50/50 raffle, and games for the children! It will be tons of FAMILY FUN! Dinner tickets will be available at the door. The tickets will be $6.00 per ticket for a bowl of chili, hot dog or peanut butter sandwich, chips, and tea or lemonade. We will be auctioning off front row seats to the Christmas program, Spring concert, Graduation and a year long front row reserved parking spot to all athletic and RGS events. We are still in need of the following items, Bottle Ring Toss items (2-liter soda, cleaning supplies, shampoo...bottled items) Cake Walk items (Hostess/Little Debbie Snack cakes) Class room Basket Donations (Each Class Has a theme) Reminder......The classroom with the most donations and items will win a special treat!!!

Retake Picture Day is 11/14/2023! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required. If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook. Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. Just a reminder.... It's getting cold outside. Please make sure your child has the appropriate outside wear ... coats, hats , gloves etc. We will go outside with wind chill 33 and above.

November practices

Mrs. McCoy, Counselor, will be at Parent-Teacher Conferences. She will be available in Room 6 to speak with you about any issues in regard to your child's academics, social concerns, and family problems. She will also have community resources that are available to you.

Parent /Teacher Conferences Wednesday-4pm-7pm Thursday-9am-6pm No school Friday- No school -Teacher Institute If you have not scheduled your K-5th child , please call the school ASAP for a time slot for P/T Conference. All 6th-8th grade teachers will be set up in gym . No appt need. Mrs.Parrett will be available Wednesday night and Thursday until noon. Music/P.E teachers will also be set up in gym.
