Registration Days in the Cafeteria: CORRECTION: Wednesday, July 21st - 2pm - 7pm Thursday, July 22nd - 9am - 3 pm All students entering Kindergarten, 2nd grade, or 6th grade will need to have one or more of the following exams: Dental Exam - Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 6th grade Vision Exam - Kindergarten Physical Exam - Kindergarten and 6th grade Out of state students will need all of the above. Also, when entering the building you will notice the signs indicating asbestos removal. This process will begin on Friday. It is safe to enter the cafeteria doors. Reminder.. Baseball tryouts are today (July 19) and tomorrow(July 20) from 3:30-5:30. There will be softball practice on Tuesday, July 20 from 5:30-7:30 at Raccoon School.

Reminder: The sports award presentation will be tomorrow at 6 pm in the gym. Immediately following the presentation will be a booster meeting. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. The Booster Club needs your help to support your child and our school!

Baseball tryouts will still be on July 19 & 20, however the time will be 3:30-5:30 instead of 6-8.

There will be a sports awards presentation in the gym on Tuesday, July 13th at 6 p.m. As of right now the health department has stated there are no restrictions for any gatherings in the state of Illinois. Reminder for baseball camp Wednesday and Thursday from 6-8pm. Athletes will need to bring their own drinks, it will hot. And if they have their own baseball equipment, bring it also . Coach will have a few extra helmets , bats and gloves.

Raccoon softball tryouts will be on July 14 and 15 from 5-7pm. Your daughter must have a current Sports physical before tryouts.

Raccoon will have a baseball camp for 5th-8th grade boys on July 7th & 8th from 6-8pm for any student who may be interested in baseball. Also, Baseball tryouts will be on July 19th & 20th from 6-8pm. Must have a current Sports physical before tryouts.

Attention parents/guardians: If your student still has medication here at school, it needs to be picked up ASAP. If medication is not picked up by the end of this week, it will be disposed of accordingly. Medication cannot be left here over the summer. Please call the school if you have any questions. Selmaville will be hosting a summer volleyball league for 5 weeks, on Wednesdays, from June 2-June 30. Game times will be between 5-7pm. If you have a girl entering grades 5th -8th and are interested in her playing in this league, please contact me ASAP at 618-367-1219. Coach Inlow
